Welcome to The Eells’ Nest, our peaceful island getaway.

As you cross the two lane bridge from the mainland, you travel over Lemon Bay. Look out and see the sail boats and perhaps dolphins playing in the Bay.

Upon entering the island, feel the stress melt away and as you gaze on the water, smell the ocean air and salt water. Manasota Key is a quiet island with a two lane road and not even one traffic light. Turn right at the round about and continue less than one mile to La Coquina, our home away from home. Enjoy the slower pace of a time gone by in a place to relax, recharge and play.

La Coquina is a small condominium community on the beach which is beautifully landscaped.

As you enjoy our beach, look up the winding coastline and at the Florida trees, private homes and pristine beach. The southwest coast of Florida is the home of world class tarpon fishing, dozens of golf courses and miles of wide sandy beaches.

Take the short walk through the manicured lawns and hibiscus plants to the sparkling pool and look at the ocean just steps away. Enjoy snorkeling in the Gulf or building sand castles on the wide sugar white sand beach.

At sunset take a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne to our boardwalk or down to the water’s edge. Relax and enjoy a beautiful Florida sunset over the Gulf of Mexico as you toast another day in paradise.

Perhaps you will be lucky and see the legendary green flash in the moment the sun disappears into the ocean.

As you get ready for bed, open the windows in the bedroom of our corner unit; enjoy the fresh ocean cross breezes and let the sound of the surf lull you to sleep.

Our two bedroom two bath condo has room enough for four, so bring the family, stay in comfort, and connected, with high speed internet and a TV in every room.

As you wake, enjoy your coffee and breakfast on the screened in Lanai and gaze out on the palm tree garden, the pool and the ocean.

Take time to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds and watch the parade of majestic birds, including cranes, herons and brown pelicans as they float by on the ocean breezes or play in the water.

Many tropical trees can be found in the area including coconut palms, papaya and banyans.

There are many interesting places to visit in the area. Come, explore, relax and revitalize.
